Il M/Y Vita II è varato nel 1999 come nave da diporto e naviga come tale fino al 2004, quando è venduto e il nuovo armatore chiede di trasformarlo in imbarcazione.

In collaborazione con l'ing. Carlo Vesco, con il quale l'unità era stata progettata, riusciamo a individuare tagli della poppa e della prua che, in conformità alla norma EN ISO 8666, consentono di ottenere una lunghezza dello scafo (Lh) di 23.98 m e quindi di classificare l'unità come imbarcazione. Otteniamo quindi l'attuale barca di lunghezza fuori tutto superiore ai 27 m ma classificata come imbarcazione CE.

M/Y Vita II is launched in 1999 as pleasure ship and sails until 2004, when it is sold and the new shipowner asks to transform it into boat.

In collaboration with eng. Carlo Vesco, with whom the unit was planned, we succeed in locating cuts in the stern and the bow which, in accordance with rule EN ISO 8666, allow to obtain a length of the hull (Lh) of 23.98 m and so to classify the unit as boat. So we obtain the actual boat with an overall length greater than 27 m but classified as CE boat.
